A Physical Representation of Winter

It snowed today! See the pretty world I woke up to?

Which reminds me, it's time to bring Timmy in for the winter. Sorry buddy...

Snow means pretty views and a complete inability to drive up my steep driveway. It also means an hour and a half drive to work (it usually takes 30 - 40 minutes). But it's pretty! Did I mention it's pretty? Ask me again in March. I may use a different set of vocab words that are not Disney friendly.

Snow also means cold. Cold stinks, since this is how I stay warm at home:

But for now, it's the first real snow of the year, and the world is beautiful, and I wanted to share it with everyone who is currently snow free.

That makes me miss Vermont. Enjoy the snow. I know you don't snowboard or I'll tell you to enjoy that too.

Are those two different cats or the same one?

Cry me a river. Last time I heard from you, life in Austin was pretty darn sweet.

They are two distinct cats. I forget how similar they look (they're brothers). The top photo is Oscar, the bottom is Stewart. They're pretty fantastic.

As an aside, I heard someone at my office call their dog their "furbaby" yesterday. Dear god in heaven, shoot me if I ever say that. Since you're in Texas, you can do that without risk of legal recourse, right?

I want snow! Gimme!

Your mom gave me this link, btw. Sounds like the Guthrie concert was faboo, as she was hoping. Did you know your cat Stewart's name is spelled like my grandfather's? :)

Take care, be careful in the cold stuff.

My mother calls them furbabies. It gets increasingly frightening.
